  1. Your ring finger on the D string at the 3rd fret.
  2. Your middle finger on the G string at the 2nd fret.
  3. Your index finger on the B string at the 1st fret.
  4. Let the high E string ring open.
  5. Don't play the low E and A strings: start your strum on the D string.
